I am looking to remove a permanent link on the 6 o’clock side of my breitling professional bracelet (circled in red in the picture). The breitling clasp is akwardly biased towards the 12 o clock side and doing so would allow it to actually be centered on the wrist.To take a regular link out requires removing two screws and pulling off the link piece on the opposite side, revealing that the opposing piece has two long, internally threaded rods that hold the whole thing together. The short link is all different.
You will need to release 2 sets of links from the bottom end of the watch although this will allow for only one to be removed. does this make sense. Are there arrows on the back of the links to indicate which direction to push out the pin? You can purchase an inexpensive tool on line to push out the pins. It won't cost more than and you should have one for your bracelet.
