I follow multiple vintage Chanel sellers and I’ve always seen this bag style from 1980s around 2-3k range. The last time I saw this exact bag in a rarer color sold with full inclusions minus the box .

Hi ladies, lately I've been seeing so many questions about vintage Chanels and I thought it would be nice to have a thread for discussing vintage pieces Ask questions, share photos, care tips, etc! Personally, I love Vintage Chanel, I have a 0 series Mini flap, and a 2 series M/L classic flap. I recently got my first small classic flap, it’s a seasonal colour and wanted to ask other owners of the small whether the secret pocket on their flap also doesn’t really open. What I mean is there is a zipper, if I open it it doesn’t have any allocated space. Some main things to look for are any loose stitches on the inside and outside, make sure the flap is not crooked, the Mona Lisa pocket is not crooked, the bag sits properly (doesn't tilt forward or backwards), check the leather on the chain to see if it's peeling or twisted anywhere, check the leather over all and make sure it's not damaged .I follow multiple vintage Chanel sellers and I’ve always seen this bag style from 1980s around 2-3k range. The last time I saw this exact bag in a rarer color sold with full inclusions minus the box was for 60 usd. Furthermore, I have not heard good experiences with TRR.
A lot of vintage flaps have single flaps, but these were discontinued in 2014. Chanel East-West Flaps, discontinued in 2010, are not part of the core classic range. But if you’re seeking a Chanel style with a “classic flap look” (and vintage), then East-West bags are worth looking at! Chanel Jumbo Single Flap. I purchased a vintage small classic flap from my best friend’s mom last year. It’s a 2 series from 1994-1996 and she babied the heck out of it. Upon close inspection, I noticed that there are a few flaws with the purse. I’ll include photos with flaws mentioned circled. The back pocket doesn’t seem to be sewn in straight. What do you think? I bought it for online because I’m new to collecting and I don’t have any toned Morgan’s. Will admit it looked way better online. Bad decision or worth it? HOWEVER, I have a vintage classic flap in caviar and I LOVE it. I've said before in other posts, one of my most used bags and still looks new. If you're set on a vintage bag, I think buying a bag that is still in production, is the way to go.
