You know, those red reversing wheels, ventilated rotor, multiple plates and bridges, and even the balance bridge – none of these Rolex caliber parts look like your typical equivalent ETA 2824, 2836, or 2892 movements. The A2824 is a far superior movement to the 2813, and the genuine 2824 is a slightly better experience to the asian version. That said, the 2813 is a fine movement if you get a good one, longevity is a huge question mark but at least a year or 2 is fair to say. 2824 is a workhorse Asian or Swiss made, id always get one when possible.ETA GMT movements are reliable and inexpensive to service and repair, however, the functionality does not match the Rolex GMT calibers.
